Marine Algae of the Aleutian Islands

 

Irtugovia shimamurana (Nagai) L.P. Perestenko

 

I thought this algae was an Antithamnion and it looks a lot like the A. shimamurana illustrated by Nagai, which Perestenko has placed in Irtugovia.

    

Known from Attu, Adak and Shemya.
