Armchair Activist Armchair Activist is a monthly newsletter that covers a critical environmental issue. Each month, a newsletter is mailed to you that contains a brief statement of the critical issue, background information, instructions for responding, and a sample letter for you to send to your congressional representatives or other officials. Pomona Valley Audubon is one of over 21 Audubon chapters in California that participate in Armchair Activist. This roughly translates into about 800 letters sent to our elected officials each month from California. But more are needed. If you are looking for an easy way to become an active participant in Audubon and the political process, Armchair Activist is for you. |
