What is Audubon Adventures?
Audubon Adventures is an education program that focuses on different aspects of wildlife and conservation.  It's a fun way to teach 4th - 6th grade students  about the wildlife around them.  A class subscription features newspapers for students, a teachers guide & resources, and a classroom video.

Teachers receive the materials, including 4 editions of newspapers, at the beginning of the school year, so they can plan ahead and use the subjects in the most appropriate order for them.  The fifth surprise edition is sent in the Spring.  Subjects change every year.  Past years topics have included Song Birds, Snakes, Pond Life and Wildflowers.

How do I get Audubon Adventures?
An Audubon Adventures subscription is $35 per year, $40 for Spanish. If you live in the PVAS service area (see Map) order Audubon Adventures through PVAS and receive a partial sponsorship.    You pay only a $10 subscription, PVAS pays the other $25.  Contact Dan Guthrie at dguthrie@jsd.claremont.edu to get your subscription.

If you live outside the PVAS area order Audubon Adventures directly from the National Audubon Society.  You can also order back issues from National Audubon for only $5 per set of 35.
