Pomona Valley Audubon - Southern California Conservation - Letters for Sequoias |
Please write or email to let Clinton know you agree that the trees should be offered some protection. Here are some points you may want to include:
Dear President Clinton:
I support your proposal for a Sequoia National Monument.
Please include at least 400,000 acres in the monument to preserve the Sequoia groves, their surrounding watershed and forest ecosystem.
Please eliminate commercial loggging, new road building, mining, off-road vehicle use and all destructive influences within the monument.
Thank you for your proposal to save the magnificent Sequoias.
