Bird and Wildlife Rehabilitation

Rehab Networks This rehabilitation network site lists all the rehabilitation organizations in the US and has articles on the care of young, sick and injured birds. It also has info on diseases from wild birds.


Locally in San Dimas Canyon, Wild Wings of California at 599-7512, 592-4900 will take and rehabilitate baby or injured native wild birds.

This site tells all about bird banding ---past and present. Gives information as to who to contact about past or present bands. Has links to all the different pigeon groups under "all about bird banding."

The American Racing Pigeon Union registers pigeon breeders and club. Letters on the leg band of a lost bird will allow you to find its owner using this site.

Ms. Burnet in Riverside area (909) 682-7872 will take Exotic birds (domestics, imported varieties).
