HUNTINGTON LIBRARY monthly birdwalks (not a PVAS event) are on the second Saturday of every month at 8:00 a.m. If you have never been, this is your chance to visit these beautiful gardens. Dan Cooper, our January speaker sometimes leads these walks.
PVAS Field Trip 2000
LOS ANGELES ARBORETUM, ARCADIA.These beautiful grounds are the home of the vociferous red-whiskered bulbul, a African/Asian cage bird which has escaped and established a locally breeding population here. The lush vegetation is also excellent for overwintering orioles and tanagers. Wood ducks and more.
