Forest Falls

 PVAS Field Trip 2000
Wed., May 24. FOREST FALLS.

Meet at Memorial Park in Claremont for carpooling and directions. As an alternative, meet at Mill Creek Ranger Station at 8:15 a.m. We will be looking for delightful birds such as lazuli bunting, and Lawrence's goldfinch at the ranger station. Then we will head up the hill possibly making stops prior to the turnoff to Forest Falls. Possible birds of the forest include golden-crowned kinglet, white-headed woodpecker, green tailed towhee, and white-throated swift. Bring snacks, lunch and fluids. We will leave Memorial Park at 7:30 a.m. Call Suzanne Chappell, (909) 981-1996 if you plan to attend.
