 PVAS Field Trip 2000

SANTA ROSA PLATEAU ECOLOGICAL PRESERVE.

This pristine area of oak savanna (Englemann Oak) and grasslands is owned by The Nature Conservancy. It features vernal pools (following rins), special wildflowers and an abundance of birds, including grasshopper and lark sparrows, lazuli bunting and nesting white-tailed kites. It is a mile hike to the adobe, so wear your hiking boots or walking shoes. It nay be wrm. Bring water and a snack.
