1974 -1993 PVAS operated the first and only licensed Raptor Rehabilitation Center in the area for many years. Click pamphlet for Rapter Center collage (Wirtz, Harnage, etc).
Milt Blatt led the Bonelli Group each year for Audubon Christmas Bird Count from 1983 - 1998. Click above photo for the enlargment of first annual photo (1983).
PVAS has a booth or table with Audubon materials (and some times with live birds (thanks to the Everets at Wild Wings)) at every opportunity. This photo is of Hank and Helen manning it in the 1989 Village Venture.
