Dr. Milton is a neuroscientist and neurologist who is a world-leading expert on the neurobiology of the development of expertise. His multi-disciplinary research has involved high resolution motion capture and multimodal imaging (e.g. functional magnetic resonance imaging) studies of novice and elite athletes together with mathematical and computer modeling studies. As a clinical neurologist he is well experienced in the assessment of clinical movement disorders. Moreover, he has worked for the last five years teaching golf to those with physical and neurological disabilities with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and The University of Chicago Golf Neurology clinic. At the Claremont Colleges he is a coach for the CMS Women's Golf Team.
